Beaches

If there is anything that characterizes the beaches of the Blanca and Costa Cálidas, these are, undoubtedly, its fine sands and crystal-clear waters that create a genuine paradise for all those who enjoy them.

The Blue Flag campaign was launched in 1987, the European Year of the Environment. The Blue Flag is an annual distinction that is awarded by The Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to honour those beaches and ports that have excellent environmental services and conditions.

The Autonomous Regions of Valencia and Murcia are amongst the European regions that receive the largest amount of this distinction each year.

Marina

The area of the Costa Blanca and the Costa Cálida, which receives the most important European tourist contingent in all Spain, combines magnificent beaches with cliffs, fishing ports and marina.

Different, famous ports can be found on our coasts; ports that are known for their fishing traditions and also for having comfortable and up-to-date installations. Some examples of these ports are: the Altea Port, the Alicante Marina Club, the Denia Yacht Club, the Royal Yacht Race Club of Alicante, the San Pedro de Pinatar Port or the Port of Cartagena.

You can enjoy our coasts with all the services that they offer. Some of these services include 24 hour coast guard services, technical workshops, meteorological services, fire services, lighting, an infinite number of berths, and so on… As can be seen, all the requirements to keep your vessels in ideal conditions.

Golf

The Costa Blanca and the Costa Cálida are characterized for being one of the main international reference centres for playing golf, as they have a complete network of golf courses that are equipped with excellent sport facilities, and even more important than this, an enviable climate for the playing this sport.

All of this, and the limited number of rainy days per year, have made the Costa Blanca and the Costa Cálida the main destination points in Europe where this sport is played, particularly in winter.

Famous golf players, whether they are Spanish or foreigners, design the golf courses. There are golf courses close to the tourist and leisure areas, all along the Costa Blanca and the Costa Cálida.
